"The item is well constructed and assembly is pretty self explanatory. It did take a bit of muscle and some heavy hits with a rubber mallet to get the tenons fully seated. I recommend at least 2 people for assembly. It is beautiful wood and rough finish. I chose to sand it prior to assembly and will add a clear finish in order to be able to dust it in the future.
